DR. LATINIA M. SHELL, EdD, LPC, NCC, CCMHC, ACS

 

Dr. Latinia Shell is from Lancaster, PA. She is the Owner and CEO of Diversity Works, LLC, which is a Group Private Practice in the City of Lancaster, PA. In addition, Dr. Shell is the Assistant Director of the Graduate Counseling Program at Biblical Theological Seminary.

 

Dr. Shell received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from Millersville University. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of PA, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor.

 

Dr. Shell’s experiences include 20 years of both teaching and counseling in school, college, community/mental health, and private practice settings. Her research area of interests includes racial identity development, multicultural counseling and cultural competence, social and racial justice, diversity inclusion in schools and in the workplace, supervision and training, and self-care and wellness.

 

Dr. Shell enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, playing tennis, reading, and listening to music.
